Heather Lienhart

 

Heather Lienhart was born and raised in the Central Arkansas area. After having 2 children of her own the family decided to move up to the NWA area in 2020 for more opportunities. Now Heather calls Centerton, Arkansas home. 

Educated in Conway, Arkansas, she received her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from the University of Central Arkansas. She was also a member of the UCA cheerleading team from 2002-2004. She is now a licensed Occupational Therapist at an area hospital and local NWA Realtor. Their household includes one dance loving TPDC Company Dancer (Catherine), her son (Julian) who participates in MMA, Jujitsu, and is a member of the school band, and 3 very busy dogs: Eddie, Rosie and Violet. 

Heather’s history with dance began with training in Tap, Jazz, Ballet and Pointe. Dancing for a Central Arkansas Company from the ages of 5-18 yrs. During which time, she began to add more skills to her “athletic work belt” through 10 years of competitive cheer. Starting in 1993 when she joined a Central  Arkansas competitive cheer program, River City, that later combined with another powerhouse facility in the state to form Cheer City United. Heather competed on teams that won a number of national and regional cheer competitions, including NCA, UCA, ASC, JamFest, Cheersport, and WSC just to name a few. Throughout her dance and cheer careers she was elected as an All American Cheerleader starting from  1999-2002 and later becoming an instructor of the National Cheerleading Association (NCA) for 6 years. Assisting nationwide with the growth and development of elementary, jr high and high school age school cheerleaders in developing and improving their cheer, tumble and dance skills. In 2002 she began her coaching career as an All Star Cheerleading Coach with Cheer City United and coached for the 12 years to follow. Heather is well versed in stunting skills, tumbling, dance, cheer motions and the overall development of dance and cheer athletes. After retiring from the sport in 2014 to parent and continue her work as a licensed Occupational Therapist, the tumbling mats have been unfolded and she’s ready to pick up where she left off! Heather is looking forward to assisting in the dancer development of strong ACRO skills at TPDC in Season 4.
